Charli XCX...

As I mentioned a few months back I was lucky enough to assist Alexis styling Charli XCX being shot by Rankin! I had a great day and his studios are amazing to work in... a real buzz! I got some great behind-the-scenes snaps on my phone which were sadly never backed up before my phone disappeared!.... yep I'm still going on about it!
Charli is such a rad bi-atch and looked amazing in all of her outfits on the day! I can't wait until they're released along with her video for You're The One at the end of this month... keep ya ears and eyes open!
Here are some of my favourite photos of her along with a couple from the day of the music video shoot.

OK so I've been proper rubbish with keeping up to date with the blog but I wanna try harder I really do. It makes sense until the website is finally up and running! Miss Gemma Cairney is what you would call a rising star, having just made the move from Radio 1Xtra to the Radio 1 weekend breakfast show.... MAJOR!! Every now and again she'll have an extra special event that she needs an outfit for and thats where I come in. As you probably heard there was a pretty big festival on at the weekend over in Hackney and Gemma presented live on BB3. Here's what she wore....

My Week In Not So Many Pictures...

Last weeks 'Week In Pictures' was set to be a right good'un! Tuesday was spent shooting the next cover of Notion in the studio with Rizzle Kicks, I went to Rankins studio on Wednesday to assist Alexis styling Charli XCX and on Friday I had a great time styling a grungy editorial shot by Gabriel Love. Unfortunately my phone was stolen over the weekend when I'd had a few too many shandies and I hadn't backed up the pics... BIG SAD FACE! Here are 3 that I happened to upload before the theft....

It was Notions fashion co-ordinator Ailie (right) last day so we went out to consume a lot of cocktails!

My sister Chez and her boyfriend Dan ran the London Marathon on Sunday so Saturday night was spent painting this huge banner!

Bedtime Stories at 40 winks...

Last Wednesday evening we made our way up the Mile End Road in torrential like rain to stop off at the gorgeous 40 Winks hotel for Bedtime Stories evening. My Mum, my sister and I were greeted at the door by eccentric interior designer Mr Carter who ticked our names off the list before we were led upstairs by girls in glamorous nighties to change into our own nightwear.
Stepping foot inside 40 Winks seemed similar to falling down the rabbit hole into Wonderland and we were excited for the evening ahead!

My sister ready for bed

When we were ready we headed all the way downstairs to drink gin cocktails out of teacups and across the course of the evening were entertained by two very different story tellers telling tales of enchantment in two of the gorgeous rooms of the house with our fellow bedtime buddies.

At the end of the night we were treated to songs by a lady dressed in a Hawaiian style silk dress playing a ukulele and two prizes were given out. The prestigious 'glamorous nightie award' scooped by Fiona from Scotland and 'the most flirtatious guest award' went to none other than... ME! I was given a huge bottle of Hendricks gin for my cheeky efforts! Thanks Mr Carter! (hic!) We left on a high feeling like we were part of something that not many people knew about. A truly unique experience, highly recommended!
